Getting my Vietnam visa arranged while in Cambodia included an offer for the tour agency to meet me at the boarder with my passport... but luckily that wasn't necessary.
The small town of Kep located on the southern coast of Cambodia is mainly known for its crab and in a province known for its pepper. It's a sleep little town that doesn't hit the radar for many people traveling through the area, but I think it is the hidden gem of Cambodia.
I needed to get from Siem Reap to Kep, Cambodia. It’s not a common route for people to take; most tourists are either headed to Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville. So, naturally, my bus route was Siem Reap -> Phnom Penh -> Sihanoukville -> Kep. It was meant to be something like a 14 hour bus ride, all combined, with just one bus change in Sihanoukville.
