With the announcement of Club Carlson’s summer promotion, I thought I would compile a list of the current hotel promotions that I’m aware of!

Club Carlson: Stay two consecutive nights between May 13, 2013 and July 21, 2013 and earn 10,000 bonus gold points for each eligible. Registration required, you can register here.

Marriott Unexpected Bonus: Stay twice at any participating property between May 15, 2013 and September 2, 2013 and receive one free night good at any Category 1 – 5 Marriott property. Maximum 2 free nights. Registration is required by July 31, 2013, and you can register here. This is a promotion that I plan to take full advantage of. I will be sharing my strategy later this week!

Starwood Double Take: Earn double points at all participating Starwood properties between  now and July 31, 2013. Plus earn 500 bonus points per booking through spg’s mobile site, iPhone app, or Android app. Register here for this promotion.

Hilton HHonors Daily Grand Promotion: Earn 1,000 bonus points for every weekday night and 2,000 bonus points for every weekend night between April 1 and June 30, 2013. Registration is required, and can be done here. You can also earn bonus Aeroplan miles with Hilton; 250 on your first stay, 500 on your second, 750 on your third, and 1,500 on your fourth for a total of 3,000 bonus Aeroplan miles. Best Western: Between now and June 30, 2013, earn 250 bonus points for booking online. Register online ahead of time here. This offer is potentially targeted. You can also earn bonus Aeroplan miles with Best Western, to a total of 10,000, register here. (HT: Canadian Kilometers here too.)

 

Other than Marriott’s promotion, I won’t be going out of my way to take advantage of any of these opportunities. They’re great if you already have a hotel stay planned though! At the Hilton Tysons Corner, where Frequent Traveler University was held a few weeks ago, I was able to get some bonus points for staying at the conference hotel — which I was planning to do anyway, so that was great! It can’t hurt to register for the promotions either, because you never know when an unexpected stay will come up.
