4K For Cancer: Recap of Week 2

As a reminder, I am biking over 4,000 miles across the country, from Baltimore, MD to San Francisco, CA in support of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults as part of the 4K For Cancer. Along the way, I am also doing a combination of 10,000 sit-ups and push-ups for each young adult who dies from cancer every year.

Total Miles This Week: 449.5 (Trip Total = 786.5)

Total Push-Ups This Week: 10 (Trip Total = 220)

Total Sit-Ups This Week: 20 (Trip Total = 370)

Yes, I have been slacking on push-ups and sit-ups… we’ve had some crazy days this week.

*finally riding through other states than VA! We rode through parts of TN and then NC, and we are currently back in TN for a few more days.

*we got to stay in a fire department

*a pretty intense thunderstorm

*my dad and a family friend coming to visit in Knoxville, TN

*first century ride – 104.5 miles in one day!
